Anthony Musso
Director of Service - Los Angeles
Anthony Musso is the Director of Service at the Los Angeles office. Driven by a mantra of creating a welcoming workplace where employees can flourish, he puts his vast experience and knowledge into effect. Leading the office’s service department, he wants to ensure all office staff, service technicians, and service sales have the support to grow professionally and personally.
Anthony participated in all levels of the HVAC service industry and quickly progressed due to his leadership capabilities and technical knowledge. Anthony started his career as a truck driver in 2005. He was introduced to the trade by his father and brother. Both were Local 250 members, and Anthony started the apprenticeship in 2008. In 2013, he became a Journeyman after completing the apprenticeship. He worked for various mechanical companies doing service maintenance, controls, and retrofit projects. He became a Foreman in 2015 and started pursuing management roles. In the field, Anthony was known for his quality work in large dryside equipment. This includes service work to box car units, built-up systems, and work in critical areas (computer labs, cleanrooms, hospitals, etc.). His reputation became known for leading a team that got the work done efficiently and effectively. Anthony focused on having his team members feel heard, appreciated, and provided an environment to learn.
In 2018, Anthony was hired at the LA office as the Field Mechanical Foreman. The start-up location attracted him, and he once again utilized his management skills to create a desired workplace for his team members. In 2021, Anthony became the Service Manager. Within three years, he grew the service department from 12 to 32 service technicians. In 2024, he was promoted to Director of Service at the Los Angeles office. Now, he oversees the technicians, service sales, and office staff. With this increased responsibility, he focuses on creating a company culture “to easily get your work done and enjoy it!" There’s a lot to HVAC, and Anthony uses this to his advantage. As stated, “Creating change for people maintains their interest.” Allowing his team to learn different angles of the industry creates a more well-rounded employee and adds variety to their day. For instance, his sales team doesn’t just sell preventative maintenance service agreements, but team members also sell EMS/BMS solutions, equipment change-outs, and they work with clients to provide solutions.
At A.O. Reed, Anthony focuses on keeping the company’s history and mantra, “Quality Behind the Name,” at the center of his decisions. The company has built a reputation and presence for over a century, and he is honored to be a part of its history. Anthony is eager to serve the Los Angeles community with quality technicians and salespeople. Continuing his efforts to expand the office, he instills in the service department “Constant growth, constant learning, and constant humility.”
