Unions
A.O. Reed employs the largest number of Union Trade Employees in San Diego County. We have signatory status with the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union in Southern California and the Sheet Metal International Union in the U.S and Canada. A.O. Reed is approved to train apprentices by the State of California for plumbing, pipe fitting, HVAC service & repair, and sheet metal work. To learn more click here.
The plumbers, pipe fitters, and sheet metal unions have the following skills and expertise available for our work at A.O. Reed. Our indentured apprentices are enrolled in a five-year DAS and BAT recognized program. Our General Foremen and Foremen are Union Trade Employees most of which have been with A.O. Reed for more than twenty years.
