Jack Brunner is the Director of Process Piping at A.O. Reed’s Anaheim Office. His scope includes managing sales, design development, fabrication, and installation of all process piping work. He has vast experience working on critical utilities in operating pharmaceutical manufacturing and life science facilities. Jack manages A.O. Reed’s Anaheim office and oversees operations. He is a leader driven by a passion for his craft and surrounded by a like-minded team.

While in high school in the ‘80s, Jack was introduced to the craft of welding, and the process came naturally. After high school, Jack became a welder, where he learned how to read blueprints, construct platforms, and build conveyors, hydraulic dumpers, hoppers, and other food processing equipment. Being exposed to hydraulics, plumbing, and control wiring during the equipment assembly, this set the stage for a long-term career in the construction industry. Jack became passionate about building projects for the food and beverage industry and quickly rose to a lead position. Jack took the initiative to grow his knowledge in the craft, where he got certified in SS & carbon pipe and underwent training to become a boilermaker. This led to Jack’s advancement, where he was given the opportunity to manage work at dairy and beverage factories.

After a decade of experience, Jack was hired as a field supervisor for a company that performed SS Process Piping and high-purity work. Drawn to the challenge, he expanded his learning in engineering, hydronics, equipment design, and pressure loss. Jack was responsible for projects that included UHT plant relocations, critical utilities, purified water systems, distillation units, CIP systems, and steam systems, as well as performing work in critical environments. He took CSU Fullerton and Rio Hondo College classes for drafting and CAD work, engineering, geometry, and algebra. Jack applied his technical knowledge to his daily work activities, resulting in a promotion to Project Manager. In his new role, he was responsible for system design, creating P&IDs, and workflows. He participated in all phases of the project stage, from managing the design, assembling drawings, pre-construction, scheduling, and managing a field team at jobsites. Jack pursued his passion and was rewarded with his Class A - General Engineering License in 2000

Utilizing his vast knowledge and client relationships, Jack had the dream and pursued starting his own business, Trinity Process Solutions, in 2004. He built a business focusing on engineering & design, fabrication, and process piping installation. The company had a reputable standing in the industry and built great relationships in Southern California.

In 2024, the business was rebranded to A.O. Reed, where Jack and his team introduced and led the process piping services in Anaheim. His team gets to showcase their proven ways of designing and installing critical utilities in operating facilities. The Anaheim office’s capabilities have grown A.O. Reed’s process piping services in Southern California. Some interesting projects his team has worked on include B. Braun Medical, Teva Pharmaceuticals, Edwards Life Sciences, Polypeptide, Neutrogena, Medtronic, Bachem, and much more!
