A.O. Reed is very proud of our relationship with NBC 7 San Diego as their preferred HVAC/ Plumbing service provider for over 10 years. In 2016, we were awarded the HVAC and plumbing scope of work at the NBC studio’s new location in Kearny Mesa. The project was a great success; we were awarded the building’s service contract upon completion and have been there ever since. Over the years, our service team has ensured the client is satisfied and has the most updated systems for the building. Our maintenance services for NBC include Backflow Certification, HVAC, and plumbing.
A part of our maintenance plan includes a yearly backflow test for a 3-and-a-half-inch backflow servicing the NBC building. The test has three parts: checking the value of the first check, checking the value of the second check, and checking the relief valve. Once all the test readings are gathered, we complete all paperwork and submit it to the water purveyor/cross-connection department. As for restroom maintenance, we service the main line, from the cleanout to the urinals. Chiller maintenance includes tightening all the electrical, checking the amperage, refrigerant levels, and everything in between.
