Steve Andrade

Chief Executive Officer

Steve has 45 years of experience with A.O. Reed & Co. in the operational and management areas of construction.  In 1972, he began his career as an apprentice plumber. With his extensive knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems, this has aided Steve’s career in the other roles he’s held. Steve has been identified as a Journeyman Plumber, Estimator, Project Manager, and Project Engineer.  In 1980, Steve was promoted to Executive Vice President in charge of all field operations, and in 1991, he assumed A.O. Reed’s presidency from his father, Ed.

On January 1st, 2015, Steve promoted David Clarkin to presidency. Steve was CEO and Chairman until September 2023. Now, he’s the Chief Executive Officer at A.O. Reed & Co. His educational background includes San Diego Mesa College and University of California, San Diego.
