A.O. Reed’s Gym
To ensure a culture of physical and mental well-being, A.O. Reed & Co. unveiled the completion of our employee gym on August 2019. Employees could have 24/7 access to the gym in order to stay fit and healthy.
The gym has two large roll-up doors to accommodate air flow along with bacteria-filtered air conditioning. The gym room is equipped with cardio/weight machines, a multitude of free weights, squat racks, weight benches, ab/stretch equipment, jump ropes, TRX station, and much more.
Outdoor Activity Space
The outdoor space was created with a mixed use in mind. The outdoor space has an outside area for basketball, cardio exercises, food prep station, and outdoor tables. The outdoor food prep station has a fridge and grill that is used when we company barbeques. Many employees take their lunch breaks at our outdoor tables. After all, San Diego is known for our sunshine, so we want to take advantage of our gorgeous environment as much as possible.
By implementing a gym and outdoor space at our headquarters, we hope to strengthen our employee’s physical and mental health and well-being. Being based in San Diego, California we are constantly surrounded by a society who takes part in the efforts to raise mental health concerns, and to get outside! We want that same culture to be instilled in our employees. At A.O. Reed, we are part of a team. By offering a healthy working environment to our employees, we hope to give them the tools to succeed. Plumbing & Pipe Fitting Fabrication Shop
A.O. Reed utilizes our 10,000 square-foot Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Fabrication Shop that is equipped with a 6,000-pound gantry crane. Crews work seamlessly together to maximize the efficiency of the pre-fabrication process.
The A.O. Reed Sheet Metal Shop
The A.O. Reed Sheet Metal Shop is a 15,000 square-foot facility dedicated to fabricating commercial HVAC systems as well as all ancillary items for our projects. This includes duct supports, hangers, and specialty fabrication. Our shop provides all materials for HVAC products from start to finish.
