San Diego Heart & Stroke Walk 2025
On Saturday, September 20th, A.O. Reed proudly joined thousands of community members at the San Diego Heart & Stroke Walk 5K for the 12th year! This annual event supports the American Heart Association’s mission to fight heart disease and stroke. Employees from every department came out with their families and friends. Out of our 12 years of attendance, this year had the highest participation yet!
We surpassed our goal and raised $5,083,87, the largest fundraising total in our 12 years of supporting this event! Every dollar raised helps bring life-saving science into our communities by funding research, CPR training, and programs that make a difference in people’s lives.
We wanted to give a special shout-out to Michele Ignacio, who led the way with an outstanding $2,389.47 raised individually. Michele’s efforts, combined with the dedication of the entire team, helped push us beyond our fundraising goal and set a new company record.
The Heart & Stroke Walk is more than just an event; it is a chance to make a lasting impact. For A.O. Reed, it was an opportunity to come together across departments, gather our friends and families, and show the strength of our team when supporting a cause that matters.
We are grateful to all employees, friends, and family members who dedicated their time, energy, and generosity to the event. Taking part in the San Diego Heart & Stroke Walk reminds us of the difference we can make together, and we look forward to continuing to build on this momentum in the years ahead! We hope everyone enjoyed the walk and the opportunity to support Heart and Stroke research!
