He was promoted to Project Manager during the Qualcomm W Cogen project. As a project manager, he worked on a wide range of projects, including laboratories, hospitals, and educational facilities. These experiences helped him develop a strong technical foundation and a deep understanding of the industry.
In 2008, Cory began focusing on Kaiser Permanente projects, where he cultivated lasting partnerships built on trust, quality, and reliability. His commitment and leadership led him to his current role as Vice President, where he now leads operations at A.O. Reed’s the Los Angeles office.
In this position, Cory’s vision is to strengthen A.O. Reed’s presence in the Los Angeles market. He emphasizes the importance of community, collaboration, and using the wealth of resources available across the company. “At A.O. Reed, we have so many people with years of experience who want to see you succeed,” he shares. “Take every opportunity you can and excel at it! Ask questions, seek advice, and learn from those around you.”
In addition to construction and service capabilities, A.O. Reed’s Los Angeles office has a sheet metal fabrication shop, producing both in-house duct fittings and custom parts for direct sales to customers. The team also leads tenant improvement work in downtown high-rise buildings, while expanding their new construction division. The service department operates 36 vans across the Inland Empire through Orange County, supporting long-term clients with retrofit and upgrade projects.
To Cory, A.O. Reed has unmatched resources across Southern California, “With three offices, two sheet metal shops, and a full process piping division, there’s no project or problem we can’t overcome.”
A.O. Reed is more than just a workplace, to Cory it’s home. “My whole life has been here,” he reflects. “It’s genuinely like a family.”
