UCSD Sanford Consortium for Regenerative Medicine (SCRM)

This four-story, 146,000 square-foot stem cell research facility contains research areas, administrative areas, a 16,000 square-foot vivarium and an enclosed area for observing plant and animal life.

A.O. Reed’s contribution included the installation of 166 chilled beams, 406 Phoenix valves, a 1000 ton central plant and all laboratory process piping.

This project was Design-Assist and achieved LEED Gold certification.
